Startup advisory pioneer
Business consultant since 2018, working hands-on with founders back when weekly-cadence startup advisory barely existed as a discipline. International Startup Advisor of the Year 2022.
A mathematician-programmer with 4,000+ hours of business consulting and 100+ hours of personal therapy. I ask precise questions that surface the causes you won’t find in reports — in your processes, and in why you sabotage your own decisions.
People come to me when business-coach advice hasn’t changed anything, and conversations with a therapist about childhood haven’t converted into changes in money.

// if you look at the numbers
// if you look at the soul
“Busy all day like a squirrel in a wheel — and by evening, not a single meaningful result”
“I’m earning, but inside it feels like everything could collapse any moment”
“A good month — I’m great. A bad one — I’m nobody”
“There’s a dream — a project, a product, a direction — but there’s never time for it. And I suspect time isn’t the real issue”
“The team is busy, everyone’s working, nothing to fault — and at month’s end the numbers are empty”
“I know someone needs to go — and I’ve known for six months”
“The business is profitable, but when asked ‘how much do you personally make?’ I want to change the subject”
“My partner stopped contributing — but remembers his share perfectly”
If at least two lines resonated — we’ll most likely find what to work on. The problem is rarely where it hurts: I look for it in the processes — and in what blocks you from within.
biography as method
Business consultant since 2018, working hands-on with founders back when weekly-cadence startup advisory barely existed as a discipline. International Startup Advisor of the Year 2022.
Head of acceleration and startup advisor across five major accelerator programs — venture, telecom and retail. I’ve seen it all — from takeoffs to painful crashes. Learned to tell when the problem is in the product, and when it’s in the founder’s head.
After my first three years with founders I understood: 80% of blocks can’t be solved with product frameworks. Knowing ≠ doing. 100+ hours of personal therapy, 9 vipassanas, IFS coaching training — now I work at the intersection.
Launched 3 IT startups. Buried one over a partner conflict. Burned out in the second so badly I couldn’t look at metrics for six months. Took the third to profit. I know entrepreneurship from the inside, not from books.
Took on pulling a timber-industry complex out of collapse. Ten months of hell — and then, profit. That’s where I learned to see what’s possible even when everyone around says it isn’t.
Worked at a venture fund in Palo Alto. Saw how million-dollar decisions get made — and how even top investors doubt themselves. 10+ cases with international teams.

“We grew revenue 17×. Without Valerie, all of this would have ended long ago — and sadly”
“Her strength is seeing the essence: she finds the root causes you can’t see in the reports”
“Metrics are the fuel, and the personal side is the engine oil. Without both, the car won’t go”
“Our sessions were like air: when you could focus on everything, she highlighted what mattered”
“Valerie is that rare find for a founder — she lets you build the business like a grown-up”
“Every session is a real step in shifting the vector of my life for the better”

An honest dialogue, not a manipulative diagnostic designed to sell. We meet, discuss your case, and I tell you frankly whether I can help. If I feel we’re not a match — I’ll say so.
→ weekly sessions, 1.5–2 hours, Zoom
→ messenger support between sessions
The exact price is set after the first meeting, once the scope and depth of the work are clear.
This isn’t coaching where you’re handed a plan. Not therapy where you talk about childhood. Not mentoring where someone clever tells you how it’s done. Though elements of all three are present.
I don’t bring ready-made answers — I ask questions after which you see for yourself what to do. That’s why clients don’t get hooked on a consultant: they leave with their own thinking, hypothesis cycles and the habit of looking at the data — and that stays with them when I’m not around.
I’m more of a guide toward who you want to become. We work from both sides at once: what’s in the way outside, and what blocks you within. Some bring a funnel breakdown or a partner conflict to a session. Some bring their state of mind. If needed — we’ll count the metrics and look into the P&L. If needed — we’ll go down to the strings of the soul.
Write a few lines about yourself and your case — at the first meeting we’ll see whether I can help you.
